O Critics Choice Awards 2026 aconteceu na noite deste domingo (4), na Califórnia, nos Estados Unidos (EUA). A premiação, que é um dos grandes termômetros para o Oscar, contou com a presença de figuras brasileiras, como o ator Wagner Moura
 e o diretor Kleber Mendonça Filho.

Nesta edição o Brasil saiu vitorioso nas categorias Melhor Filme Internacional, com “O Agente Secreto”, de Mendonça Filho, e Melhor Fotografia, que premiou Adolpho Veloso por “Sonhos de Trem”.

Wagner Moura disputou os prêmio de Melhor Ator em Filme pelo papel em “O Agente Secreto” e Melhor Ator Coadjuvante em Série Limitada, por “Ladrões de Drogas”, mas perdeu em ambas.

Com diversas categorias, entre principais e secundárias, o Critics foca em premiar produções do cinema e da televisão. Neste ano, quatros novas categorias foram adicionadas no evento, entre elas: Melhor Programa de Variedades, Melhor Design de Dublês, Melhor Som e Melhor Elenco e Direção de Casting.
